Wash your hands

Clean your gym kit
Don’t just shove your gym kit in your bag until the next time you need it. It should be cleaned frequently to avoid it becoming smelly or becoming a breeding ground for germs.
When you get home wash everything you wore, your towel and even give your trainers a wipe over. If you work out multiple times each week it’s a good idea to have multiple sets of workout clothes, meaning you can maintain a workout regime without waiting for your gear to dry out.
Don’t share items
The last method to maintain your hygiene when you’re at the gym is to avoid sharing personal care items with other people.
Towels, roll-on deodorant or any other item that comes into direct contact with you shouldn’t be shared with someone else as it can allow the transfer of germs and bacteria.
Maintaining your hygiene and avoiding the spread of bacteria when it comes to using the gym is relatively easy. You simply need to incorporate these points into your routine, make them become force of habit over time.
